Prepare a final course paper, project, or product by choosing one of the following options. This project should be based on the prospectus you submitted for Assignment 5A. The result for this final project is usually a 10-15 page paper or a product.

• Develop a term paper on a topic related to the course area. The paper should draw upon both theory and practice pertaining to some aspect of distance education. It should be well-documented, utilizing appropriate literature, and follow the conventional standards of style.

• Plan and, if possible, implement part of the plan related to an actual use of some aspect of distance education for a training or teaching purpose.

• Write a journal article that in some way addresses a distance learning issue for potential publication.

• Create a PowerPoint presentation (with a study guide or lesson plan) on one distance education topic. It should be designed for future use in this course.

• Negotiate some activity in which you have a specific interest. The purpose of the term project is to:
  • Facilitate carrying out an in-depth study related to some aspect of the course's content area; and
  • Enhance analytical skills in comparing, contrasting, and critically reflecting on various sources of information pertaining to distance learning.
