Objectives

At the end of this session you should be able to:

  1. Determine which type of courses lend themselves to teleconferencing and computer-mediated communications (CMC);
  2. List the major components of teleconferencing and CMC;
  3. Name the potential problems faced by distance learners using CMC; and
  4. Describe the nature of learner support required for CMC and teleconferencing.
